MCC Hires Two from Top Atlanta Firms

Attorneys Christopher Glass and Jason Huff PhD join Meunier Carlin & Curfman (“MCC”) this week from AmLaw 200 firms. Chris Glass, formerly of Troutman Sanders, is now Of Counsel at MCC and Jason Huff, formerly of Kilpatrick Townsend, joins as an associate.

While other area firms have decreased their intellectual property attorney and agent count, MCC has added five attorneys in 2017.

“Despite many intellectual property departments shrinking in size, we have continued to steadily increase our ranks,” said managing partner, John Harbin. “We expect this growth to continue throughout 2017. I am proud of the success of our firm, and we look forward to growing MCC into the largest IP boutique in the Southeast.”

Chris Glass, a former Patent Examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, represents clients in U.S. and international patent, trademark and litigation matters. His background in physics enables him to provide guidance for his clients’ intellectual property in the areas of computer hardware and software, medical devices, optical physics and semiconductors. Chris graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in physics and received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University.

Jason Huff focuses his practice on patent prosecution and counseling, particularly within the biotechnology and chemical fields. In addition, Jason prepares arguments for appeals before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and supports patent litigation and inter partes review teams by applying his technical expertise. Jason received his PhD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Microbiology and his J.D. from the University of North Carolina.
