Electrical Scientific Advisor/Patent Agent/Associate

Job Description

MCC seeks an electrical patent attorney or agent for its growing IP practice. The electrical advisor/agent/associate will prepare and prosecute patent applications for clients, including corporations, universities, and research institutions.

This position will perform tasks related to patent prosecution, including:

·       drafting patent applications,

·       preparing responses to office actions, and

·       arranging for patentability, infringement, and validity searches.

Must have at least three years of experience in patent prosecution. Must hold a degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics or optics. Advanced writing, communication and research skills are required. Candidates with an active USPTO registration are preferred.
