Clients and friends,

Like so many of you, those of us at MCC have had some time in these last weeks to reflect on what’s most essential and most important—in our lives, in our communities and in our practice. In fact, the current tumult reminds us that it was ten years ago, in April 2010, that we launched MCC in response to sweeping economic challenges facing the world’s most innovative companies and the law firms that supported them. Our firm was born out of the ‘great recession,’ and we used those lessons and principles to underscore our commitment to always provide value without compromise.

So, this time is uniquely poignant for us. As we celebrate this milestone in our firm’s history, all of us at MCC, both individually and as colleagues, wanted to reach out and thank all of you for your contribution to the success of our firm.

Looking back on how far we’ve come in the last decade, we are so gratified to see that this model has been a great success for our clients and our MCC family. We began as a handful of patent prosecutors working in a small office in Atlanta’s west Midtown. Now, we are a group of colleagues 80 strong with three east-coast office locations. By attracting a first-class team of talented practitioners and the hardest working support team in the business, we have been able to expand our service offerings to include litigation, post-grant review, trademark and copyright, as well as a number of specialized transactional services. MCC has grown to become one of the largest IP firms in the southeastern United States and we are very proud of our remarkable ten-year journey.

Truly, we could not have accomplished all we have in the last decade without the esteemed partnerships we’ve developed with clients, foreign associates, and other friends and colleagues. And we offer our most sincere, ‘Thank you.’

It’s with our enduring hope and optimism that we look forward to our next decade. We will continue to build on our success from these last ten years and hopefully reach new and greater heights.

While we regret not being able to connect in person during this time, we look forward to being able to at our next opportunity. In the meantime, we’ll be raising a glass on April 19th to honor you and our MCC family and hope you’ll be with us in spirit.

From,

All of us at MCC
