Biography

Will Cutchins is a registered patent agent, specializing in the areas of chemistry and biotechnology. For over fifteen years he has represented clients through all stages of the patent procurement, from application drafting and prosecution to inter partes post-grant proceedings. Will has worked with international corporations, start-ups, and everything in between. His current practice focuses on patent prosecution and portfolio management in the U.S. and internationally. He has experience with a diverse range of technological areas including pharmaceuticals, agricultural products, polymers, solid-state chemistry, and drug-delivery systems.

Will earned a Master’s degree at Emory University, studying organic synthesis. Prior to entering patent law, Will conducted research at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Research Institute, where he designed and prepared compounds for foundational and translational cancer research.
