Meunier Carlin & Curfman LLC (“MCC”) announces the promotion of Robert “Bob” Leonard to its partnership effective July 1, 2022.

Mr. Leonard is an experienced litigator whose practice focuses on patent, trademark, copyright, and unfair competition litigation. He represents clients in district and appellate courts throughout the country in a broad range of technologies and products, including fiber optic sensor systems, heart rate monitors, wireless and wired communications technology, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.

Mr. Leonard recently represented a major consumer products company in a patent infringement case, successfully securing summary judgment of non-infringement as to all claims. Mr. Leonard was also part of MCC litigation teams that obtained favorable resolutions for a major outdoor and recreational lifestyle products company as well as a developer of aesthetic products against a major pharmaceutical company.

Mr. Leonard has been named a “Rising Star” in IP Litigation by Georgia Super Lawyers since 2020. He is part of just 5% of attorneys in his jurisdiction named to this elite list.
