Meunier Carlin & Curfman LLC (“MCC”) announces the promotion of Brian Johnson to its partnership effective January 1, 2022.

Mr. Johnson is a patent attorney and electrical engineer who represents clients in all phases of intellectual property development, protection and enforcement. He has worked for over twenty years to develop his ability to express the story of an inventor’s concept within the context of United States and international laws regarding intellectual property. Mr. Johnson represents inventors, artists and makers, authors, and commercial enterprises in all aspects of patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, as well as contracts and license agreements for intellectual property transactions. He is a former Patent Examiner in the U.S. Patent Office.

“Brian’s election to our partnership is well-deserved. He is a trusted strategic advisor to his clients, and he genuinely enjoys working with them to bring their visions to fruition,” said managing partner, Meredith Struby. “In addition to his legal practice, Brian has been instrumental to MCC’s collegial firm culture, and he has played a significant role in the firm’s summer program. Brian is both a superb mentor and patent attorney.”
