Biography

Daniel Hakimi prepares patent applications in the field of computing, including matters relating to machine learning, security and privacy, IoT, video conferencing, and human-computer interaction.

Daniel previously served as in house counsel for IBM, where reviewed and counseled on copyrights, patents and licensing agreements. He developed IBM policy regarding product clearance, open source clearance, and open source contributions. He conducted due diligence review of commercial and open source software for IP risks, and he trained other attorneys in product clearance and open source review.

Daniel is fluent in Farsi.
