Biography

Jonathan Klatt practices patent law, with a focus on patent application preparation and prosecution, project management, client relationship management and IP portfolio strategy development. He prosecutes patents in the technology areas of HVAC, outdoor power equipment, small engines, control systems, medical devices, artificial intelligence/machine learning, networking systems, financial institution systems, vehicle guidance systems, heavy machinery, plumbing fixtures, and printers. Additionally, Jonathan performs due diligence, freedom-to-operate, and patentability searches, and preparing technical written opinions for his clients.

Jonathan has over 600 hours of laboratory experience focused on fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechatronics and physics. He has an integrated understanding of engineering and key aspects of business administration. He has experience with highly variation-based engineering design and manufacturing using Epicor enterprise resource planning software and SolidWorks.
