Meunier Carlin & Curfman LLC (“MCC”) announces that Meredith Struby has been elected the firm’s Managing Partner. As Managing Partner, she will oversee the management of MCC, including the firm’s operations, and direct the firm’s strategic plans and initiatives.

Ms. Struby champions the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, and she has led MCC’s Mansfield Rule Certification. Under her leadership, the firm has intensified its efforts to recruit and promote professionals from underrepresented groups into leadership roles. Ms. Struby regularly presents on diversity, equity, and inclusion-related topics to other practitioners within the legal and technology industries.

Ms. Struby began her career with a large Atlanta law firm and joined MCC shortly after its formation. She is a practicing patent attorney with over 17 years of experience focusing on mechanical, medical device, and computer/software technologies. Ms. Struby has extensive experience creating and managing small to large patent portfolios and advising on freedom to operate issues, strategically guiding clients about how to protect their innovations and assets in alignment with their business goals.

Ms. Struby serves as the Membership and Diversity & Inclusion Co-Chair of ChIPs Atlanta chapter. She is a board member of Medtech Women – AdvanSE, and she is the vice-chair of the Board of Directors for Legacy Decatur. Ms. Struby is a member of the Women in IP, Diversity & Inclusion, and Patent Law committees for the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA). She is actively involved in the Southern Automotive Women’s Forum, which promotes the personal, educational, and professional advancement of women in the global automotive industry.
